Hello everyone. I recently participated I the Tulum workshop. I'm so thankful for the experience and the amazing people I meet. Recently I started building in Guatemala close to Santiago Sacatepequez. I'm inviting anyone who wants to help and learn together during this 6 month process.
At the moment there's 2 volunteers and 2 workers. And I can host a few more people either camping, in a room at my parents or there's also a smallish town close to.
For those interested you can send me a WhatsApp 50252039176.
@tkishawi hi sorry this answer has been so long coming but I’ve just been getting on with it. I hope you’ve sorted it out with council. But here’s my experience: council was prepared to approve the aircrete domes so long as the plans were provided by a structural engineer. Which I did. But when I got the DA approval conditions included all the inspections to be done by the engineer. Since he’s in Gladstone that would have required12 air flights, accomodation and fees. After some argy barcy council agreed to the inspections being done by a local builder in consultation with the engineer.
Hope this helps.
@LawscomDurst Your list is quite outdated, I am an interior designer and I have compiled the best of best https://empiretoilet.com/best-corner-toilet/. These corner toilets are the far better option than compact shaped toilets.
