Aircrete for garden beds?
Peps last edited by
I'm hoping to use aircrete to build vegetable garden beds but I have two concerns off the top of my head. I'm worried about toxins from concrete leaching into the soil. I'm also worried that the porous nature of concrete (and aircrete in particular) might not be the best choice for a constantly wet environment with soil. Has anyone explored using aircrete for food safe production? I wonder if the path to pursue lies in sourcing non toxic concrete (any suggestions?) or in trying to find a completely organic sealant that would not allow leaching, even over time.
Thank you anyone for your suggestions!

@Peps I have the exact same question! Did you ever receive an ansewer?
How about doing a layer of cob on the inside of the #aircrete bed?
