      hey there
so it seems that plenty of people have been figuring the contruction all out from these photocopy instructions but honestly for me there are moments where im stumped because of lack of knowledge about these componants or the images being too dark and in black and white...people all have our own strenghts and haha electronics/motors are not my thing...
bought the pdf instructions first and realized that i was in no way going to be able to contruct or find some of these pieces...so i ended up buying the kit and still i feel a little lost at times and worried im installing something backwards...honestly would be great if there was an instrcutoonal vid for putting these kits together...even just a dvd that comes with the kits that has everything one would have questions about, from construction of the little dragon to construction of a block would be awesome...i know that these sorts of dvds exsist for other things out there like rocket stoves for example and they can really help...thanks...

Is there somewhere we can at least download a colour version of the instructions? I am having the same issue, I think a colour PDF would help a lot!

@Craigglewis Apparently lost in the ether.
As discussed in link text Domegaia had like 5 or so videos on Youtube
but per Zander "We are definitely experiencing some technical difficulties at this time. It appears as though one of our technicians, not me thankfully, may have accidentally deleted our YouTube account. Yep. To be continued..."

@gemniii Always good to have a backup drive/server. I was thinking that they did not want the videos out for people copying the units. I see that some backyard guys are making them. I think it's great to have Open Source, to allow the Tech to Grow and more Domes will be built. In time your company will grow and the loss of a few sales will be overtaken with Professional Builds 🙂

@Craigglewis Unfortunately I dissagree. Some go to college. others pay to learn a trade. some apprentice. but nothing is opensource. this is patent lol. just the way it is.

@Brian-Spooner Disagree ?? Nothing is Open source?? Are you meaning this site?

                          Here a list of some
                          https://www.datamation.com/open-source/35-top-open-source-companies-1.html

                          Some I like

As for Patents. Overprice service where you need a Million to fight in court. All one has to do is change one component and/or chemical in a formulation and it becomes a different beast.

It better to spend funds on creating a company who your customers Love. This is what a company main focus should be. Worrying and trying to protect something that anyone can make in a few hours, is not wise.A better system is and will be built.

@craigglewis In the interest of cohesion I am going to agree to disagree. Then (Humor;) I am going to go have a quick discussion with Col Sanders to see what his thoughts on giving us the ingredients to his famous recipe. Till he gives me that formula I have to stay firm. Perhaps a better machine might be built but the builder of said machine will have to work at it. At this point I do not feel the need to saw this back n forth. thus I sing let it be. I shall close on this note. Cheers mate and keep up the work 🙂

                              Here's the

                              from a kit.

Domegaia used to sell the plans, but it seemed to set folks up for failure and created more questions than the team was willing to deal with.

@damian the pump and solonoid valve can be wired up either way. You can't get that wrong. You basically connect the air valve and the pump wires together. Connect one leg directly to the power cord and the other wire goes through a switch it's way to the ramining cord wire. Ground(green) wires if any are all tied together. The air valve outlet & water pump go together into a single tube where the air and water flow together into the wand. Don't over think it and I'm sure you will do fine.

I will be putting up a blog post as soon as I get time to edit some video about building a foam machine. If you want to be notified when this post goes up Subscribe to this list: https://upvir.al/56817/lp56817

@gemniii im in Costa Rica. Flew down to do a workshop but could not raise the funds to attend. So I have been working renovating a hotel here.

Yet love to get in a build at some time. Bio Veda has a build planned for 2020 in Russia. Yet now searching for the next dome build. If in CR great. It not maybe in Canada. Many are looking at sustainably now and having a dome home. I know I can build. Yet better to have a workshop under my belt. 🙂

Open Source is a great ideology. I've been using Ubuntu for many years, Look how long Microsoft has been opposed to it, and now they embrace it!

@upwinger Ubuntu is also a movement, not just an flavor of operating system. Opens course does work. However, in something like business it requires an aggressive effort and the highest of quality in your product or service to be prosperous. Control, exclusion, and laws have been the only way public companies can actually stay alive and be prosperous. The old paradigm does not die easy. I mean who doesn't like easy profit?

Thanks for sharing the very good youtube video explaining Ubuntu. I knew this, but I hadn't seen these videos.
