Mercado Mexicano de Tequila

  • Informes de Expertos (IDE) latest report, titled “Mercado Mexicano de Tequila, Informe y Pronóstico 2021-2026”, anticipates that the market in the region will grow at a CAGR of around X% during 2021-2026, due to the rising popularity of the cocktail culture which is very much prevalent both inside and outside the houses. The gradually rising number of people visiting tequila distilleries in Mexico, increasing disposable incomes, the arrival of new tequila variants having natural ingredients and the increased availability of convenient and affordable canned tequila drinks are some of the crucial factors driving the market growth. Furthermore, the demand for Mexican tequila is also rising in the international setting. Canada, the United States, and the European Union are the markets where Mexico’s export potential is promising.

  • I made a couple of stops at Rosarito's Mercado del Mar this weekend, I kept passing up the bottles of Arette Artesanal because the prices were a bit more than I had seen at other places. On my last visit before leaving town, I was chatting a bit with the owner, Don Blas and he ended up pointing out that añejo was from a single barrel that he picked out at Arette. I figured I'd take a chance on it since the $47.50 price wasn't bad. Anxious to try it out
