Showcase guidelines

The SHOWCASE is for completed aircrete projects only. For the purposes of this category, "complete" means ready for habitation or intended use. This means that the photos should not include tools, tarps, or raw aircrete.
The idea of the showcase is to show folks that aircrete is for real, not merely conceptual. It's time for the aircrete dome community to move beyond conceptual.
Curious newcomers need to see real aircrete structures that are well-used and worn-in. We need stories about how these structures are being used and how they are performing, not just how they are built.
For dome builders, it is only natural to want to share the building aspect, and you should. Here we go beyond that and share the images, videos, and stories about how these amazing structures have served their owners - how they have proven over time worth the investment.
The SHOWCASE is dedicated to displaying aircrete projects in real life with toothbrushes, babies on the floor, barking chihuahuas, and smoking dinner in the oven all while it is sleeting horizontally outside round windows. Conventional builders and designers don't need this - they do well with images of the idealistic, freshly completed work without furniture on a quiet sunny day, because everyone already knows what conventional buildings mean, or at least think they do. But folks who are considering investing a lot of time and money building an aircrete dome on their property are taking a huge risk because they have probably never had one before and they don't know anyone else who has lived in one.
All entries must include at least one photo or video of the finished project. Feel free to include photos and stories that describe your process as well. All aircrete projects are welcome (sculptures, dome homes, garden walls, etc) as long as they are finished and include photos. See this post about how to include photos.
