My name is Brian Vavier and I am from the Netherlands.
Thans so much for letting me on this forum.
I have a huge interest in building an aircrete dome.My hopes are to get one permitted in the Netherlands, but I know this will be a long way to get done.
I just started the designing / drawing proces now and then I will get an architect to look at the drawings and see from there.There are a lot of eco projects starting in the Netherlands and maybe I can join one of them with this idea. They are mostly tiny house projects , but some structures are wooden domes. So I hope there they will be more forgiving/understanding of an aircrew dome structure. At least that communities will have more experience with unauthorised structures. Again I will just have to try and see.
No doubt this will be a long and unsure way. In the mean time I will try to build a small one first in Portugal or Spain , where sometimes it is easier to build and land is cheaper to buy.
Are there any European or Dutch people on this forum with the same ideas or already in the process. I have seen that Matt Prosser lives in Barcelona but don't think he build in Spain just yet. But I might be wrong. When I am a little bit further in the process I will try to contact him. He is a great builder / designer.

Welcome to the forum! I built a dome here in Spain seven years ago. You can see photos of it in the showcase section of this forum. Hello Domegaians,
I live in southern Nevada in a rural satellite of Las Vegas. I'm all in on the idea of building an Aircrete Dome home here in the Mojave desert. I have the property and the neighborhood is starting to grow a gated community is approved just across some fields maybe 1 mile away.
I'm at the stage of looking for an Architect and it seems the engineering is the big hurdle to be cleared. I love all the creativity and energy I see here it inspires me.
