@moralesgg I haven't started any of the project yet. Currently I am trying to get all the info I can before I start. My wife gave me the go a head to build a dome home for us as we live on a small island in the Pacific and we are prone to typhoons. I was researching for the better part of a year on how to build here, then I came across aircrete, I feel like I can not go wrong with a dome here. Concrete is a little more expensive here (10.50 per 80lbs bag) so it's still going to take some time. I want to set up a YouTube channel once I get going.
There is another guy I found on YouTube from a close by island, Yap who just finished their 20'. You should check that one out if you're interested.

Can I go up to a 40' diameter?
Greetings from the Pacific. I am planning to build an aircrete dome home, but before I do I was wondering if I could go as large as 40' diameter without jeopardizing any of the structural integrity.
I have been watching a family in a neighboring island build their 20' and it looks absolutely amazing. I just want to go bigger then add some smaller rooms onto it if I need them down the line.
